# Overview

The Qwiet AI by Harness platform includes **NextGen Static Analysis**, a cross-platform static application security testing (SAST) solution that can also be integrated into your version control or CI/CD workflows to provide automated code analysis.

Before you start, please verify that you meet the [prerequisites](/sast-and-sca/getting-started/prerequisites.md) for an optimal experience.

## Scanning your first application <a href="#scanning-your-first-application" id="scanning-your-first-application"></a>

Once you've verified that your workstation is ready for Qwiet AI by Harness, you can get started in one of two ways:

* [Integrating Qwiet AI by Harness](/sast-and-sca/getting-started/quickstart/workflows.md) into your developer or CI/CD workflow;
* [Setting up and running Qwiet AI by Harness](/sast-and-sca/getting-started/quickstart/setup.md) locally to analyze an application whose source code is present on your workstation.

After you've set up and scanned your first application, you can:

1. View your results using the [Qwiet Dashboard](/sast-and-sca/prezero/ui/application-overview.md).
2. [Add users to your Qwiet account](/sast-and-sca/prezero/users/management.md) so that they can use Qwiet AI by Harness and view the scan results as well.
3. Customize Qwiet AI by Harness to meet the needs of your organization's applications:
